It's 2017.
Dennis Flannery lives in Lovesong Federal Prison, in the hills of Kentucky, where he discusses philosophy with his cellmate, a singing "Five Percenter," or subset of the Nation of Islam.
Meghan Flannery lives in New York City -- alone and wistful for the past. She can barely leave her tiny studio apartment. When she does, she attracts an inevtiable crowd of onlookers. After all, she's now known as "The Red Lady" for her role in the 2000 election. She passes time by sending postcards to her brother, mostly photos of the twenty-first century world that he has not experienced. And she hopes that one day he will write back.
